We would like to sincerely thank everyone for their heart warming emails, phone calls and cards after the loss of our beloved boy. We are just overwhelmed at the support and generosity of miniature horse breeders and owners in Australia and New Zealand during this time. Thank you all, from the bottom of our hearts.

Have you ever dreamt of the perfect horse? The colour, the type, the sweet, yet proud temperament; EVERYTHING you ever wanted? Have you ever had the chance to own that dream horse?

I did.

If only for a short time, i was privileged enough, to own the horse of my dreams. Rowdy was everything i could have ever asked for, and during his time here he captured my heart more than any other horse ever has. He was an incredibly proud stallion, he was gorgeous, and he knew it! He was an unbelieveable herd protector, and he loved his mares and their babies. He stood the test of time as an outstanding sire-producing babies as good, if not better than himself everytime. He was known across the country for this.

Most of all, Rowdy had the temperament of a teddy bear. He loved his cuddles, and attention. If i walked into his paddock he would run over to greet me for a pat, and he wouldnt leave my side until i was on the other side of the fence again. This i miss the most.

I am believer of "all things happen for a reason", but Rowdy leaving us so soon is something i will never understand. There was obviously bigger plans for him elsewhere. Somewhere else for him to be king.

Rowdy was laid to rest under a tree in his paddock, next to my other beloved horses who i have lost over the years. He has a special place, with a garden and a plaque around his grave. He is at the top of the hill... where he can watch over all the other horses here.There will be other horses that come and go, but there will never be another Rowdy. He will always be the king here, and will be remembered forever.

We cannot believe our luck! For years we have dreamt of owning this stunning stallion, and when he was offered for sale we just had to have him!

Rowdy is Australias leading overo stallion, and one of the most respected stallions in the Australian miniature horse industry today. His bloodlines are one of the strongest for producing overos in Australia.

Rowdy himself is well known across the nation for his outstanding, colourful, refined progeny. Rowdy was Imported from the USA and is a son of the stunning bay overo stallion La Vista Remarkables Remarkable who is a Rowdy grandson, and sire of National Honoured get. His Grandsire is La Vista Remarkable Rowdy, a National Top Ten Halter horse, 2 times National High Point halter horse, 1998 & 1999 National Top Ten get of sire, and his progeny won National Honours at the 1998, 1999, and 2000 US National Shows.

We are absolutely thrilled to be able to ad this outstanding, well known stallion to our breeding barn! Rowdy will be bred to several of our mares this season - most of the foals will be for sale, so enquire early if a certain cross interests you.

Rowdy is throwing beautiful heads and necks, big movement, excellent toplines, straight legs and plenty of colour! Many of his get are well known for their successful show careers, including many State and National champions.
