This filly marks the end of an era. She is the last ever foal to be born by our beautiful La Vista Rowdy Remark who passed away in June 08. Hence her name "Swan Song".
Melody is a beautiful refined filly, with a pretty little head, good strong hip, long straight legs and lots of presence. Her dam is multi champion producer Gold Dust Toffee Apple, who has produced a National Champion Stallion "Lin Di Remember Me", and also a Sydney Royal Best Exhibit "Lin Di Planet Dancer". Rowdy (Melodys sire) was also well known for his champion progeny, and we have no doubt that Melody will live up to her impressive pedigree.
We plan to have Melody in the showring until she is of breeding age, and we look forward to breeding her to Warrior in the future and crossing our Rowdy lines with our Warrior! This will be an exciting cross!
Melody has started her show career with a bang, and is proving to be quite the little show girl!!
