About Sunryz Golden Retrievers

Sunryz Golden Retrievers is a small kennel located in the Hunter Valley, NSW Australia, approximately 1.5 hours from Sydney, and 45 minutes from Newcastle.

We got our first golden in 2020 from Kerilly Goldens in South Australia. We were quickly smitten with the breed and how well a Golden Retriever fit into our family and our farm. We added our foundation bitch, Goldivine Windsong to our family in 2021 and with the kind help and guidance from her breeder Rachael, we ventured into the show ring.

Having shown horses all of my life, I had an idea of what I was in for - but the dog show bug bit, and has quickly overtaken the desire to attend horse shows. I am still very much a learner in the ring, but I am enjoying making new friends and learning along the way. I was particularly proud with Goldivine Windsong's results at our first national show, receiving a top 5 in a large lineup of Junior Bitches. 

I am lucky and extremely grateful to have the support, guidance and friendship of Rachael at Goldivine Golden Retrievers to help me into the journey of showing, and also honored to have the incredible support and advice from Karen of Alubyc Golden Retrievers, who is a fantastic and very treasured mentor.

All of our dogs are ANKC registered with Dogs NSW. Our breeding dogs are hip and elbow scored at 12 months old, eye and heart tested by qualified specialists, and DNA tested to ensure we only breed the soundest individuals.
